Hotel Balocco

Loved the fact that it’s a relatively small hotel. Staff always very friendly and helpful. The pool area was so clean & tidy and never too busy. No problems finding a lounger at any time of the day. Breakfast buffet was perfect, not too overwhelming but included everything you could want. The shower screen in the bathroom failed every time, leading to flooded bathroom every day. I noted this was mentioned in many reviews so I wonder why nothing has been done to improve it? Shame about outside drinks & snacks not being allowed in the rooms. It’s always nice to bring in an ‘inexpensive’ drink to have o. The balcony in the evening. Could still do it but just had to drink it out of a mug!!! Haha. Highly recommend hiring a car and exploring all the local beaches, ample free parking at the hotel. All round perfect stay, thank you

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht von Porto Cervo. Liebenswerte Gastlichkeit. Tolle Restaurants in der Umgebung und traumhafte Strände. Fussläufig viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Service sehr gut. Frühstück ist ein Traum mit tollem Ausblick

Everything! Couldn’t fault one thing about the Hotel! From all of the staff, Paulo, Guiseppe, Luca, Chiara, Antonello and all of the management, bar staff, pool attendants, cleaners qnd maintenance staff.. beyond incredible team!! The hotel is outstanding, the views are amazing, everything is well maintained, clean and immaculate and the food was outstanding!!

Absolutely nothing! They deserve 10/10!

Friendly and comfortable

Room Was amazing for the size in the area. Most hotels are so expensive in that area and this hotel gave a huge room for the money.

My fiancée and I stayed for 3 nights at hotel Balocco and it was the highlight of our trip to Sardinia. The complementary daily breakfast was excellent with lots of options to choose from: eggs to order, fresh cut fruit, tasty desserts, cheeses, bacon, etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the front desk, wait staff, pool/towel staff, and house keeping were warm and friendly. The service overall was excellent. There is a free shuttle to the beach you can sign up for through the front desk—they were very informative. The pool is beautiful, although we didn’t spend much time there and opted to go to the beach. The room was spacious and clean. Having a comfortable king bed was a welcome reprieve from the smaller, less comfortable beds we slept on in Florence prior to our arrival. The shower also had very good water pressure making hair washing a breeze. The decor is warm and beachy adding to the ambiance of beautiful Porto Cervo. Our favorite feature of this hotel was our gracious feline host, little Balocco. We loved being greeted by her every morning. Overall, I can’t wait to come back here! Hotel Balocco is 10/10 and I will be recommending it to anyone heading to Italy.
