Beautiful garden and practically the location is in an old castle with a vintage design.

All was perfect.

Comfortable bed, clean room. The building is like a castle both from outside and inside with an authentic atmosphere. Its garden is like a botanic garden. Quiet and peacefull area. Gabriella the host is very kind and helpful. Provides informartion what to see, where to eat, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it really feels like a home from home. Gabriella is the perfect host and very attentive. The bedroom was great and the whole property is full of character with a beautiful garden. Gabriella was very helpful giving us advice on where to go in Mondello and Palermo. The breakfast was great with many homemade items. The property is not far from Mondello town, down a quiet road with parking available outside the gates.

The lady that hosted us tried so hard for us to make it interesting , by helping us with roads,restaurants & beaches. Also there is a very cute dog there.

If you are looking for a private villa I wouldn't recommened this one. For the fact that you will be staying in a room upstairs where the landlord lives in the first floor and there was no mention in the online description about this fact. Second, breakfast didnt meet the villa's price and reputation. Coffee pot wasnt cleaned in forever, with 3 boiled eggs for 4 people. The entrance of the house is not as the pictures, you actually get inside the villa from the back which is a jungle/garden, which accomadates a bizillion of mosquitos. The room had poor lightening with a moldy smell to it. But if we would be informed that this is an 18th century villa of some kind of prince , we wouldve excpected less.

We had a terrific stay at the Glicine. Signora Bucci is a delightful host and we were warmly welcomed along with her dog, Trilly. The property is beautiful and feels like home and breakfast is abundant and delicious. She also provided some wonderful suggestions for dining and seeing Palermo in all its beauty. We cannot recommend this place enough.

This stay was grand, so beautiful and peaceful. Gabriella is excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would honestly whole heartedly recommend everyone to come here, you won’t regret it.

Nice room, in à spectacular house.

Wider area is à bit of à mess, poor roads, litter, etc, and venue somewhat difficuit to find. The number 98 on one of the roads cited in instructions proved incorrect. Lost an hour struggling to rectify this, despite à garmin and numerous local enquiries.

This place is very special. You will need a car if you want to stay there, but the place is a stark contrast to the rush of the city of Palermo. It's like time machine that will bring you to an old family house and a secret garden where you can relax after long days of sightseeing. The place was equipped with everything we needed and it was like home. The house is very well maintained and impeccable clean. Gabriela was very helpful and warm. We would like to come back again one day.
