Catalonia Reina Victoria

Our stay in the Reina Victoria for 3 nights was everything we had hoped it would be. The hotel was busy - our first night they had a big conference on and our last night they had a wedding - but the staff ensured that everything still ran smoothly. The soundproofing in the room meant that we didn't hear any disturbance even though the wedding was taking place right outside our window. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the setting overlooking the views was incredible.

Before arriving we received lots of unnecessary correspondence from the hotel. As soon as we booked we received a message asking us to check in which we did and then after we had several more messages asking the same thing - their booking system seemed to be quite broken. None of this mattered once we arrived though.

Multiple trip here to enjoy wandering Ronda and enjoying the hotel. Perfect location and very helpful/friendly staff on all positions. Also dog friendly not just tolerant

This was the perfect place to be if you are doing the Caminito del Rey. The shuttle bus stops there and takes you to the beginning of the walk and you walk right back to the hotel. This is a bonus to avoid the hassle of figuring out the parking and then having to take a shuttle back to your parking spot. The pool is great and if you return from the walk after checkout, you are allowed to use it and they have a place where you can shower. The restaurant has a wonderful view and good food. The staff is wonderful. They arrange hiking and a Via Ferrata climb as well as zip lining there, which our kids would have preferred over the Caminita. For anyone planning to do the Caminita who actually hikes, consider doing a hike instead. The area has beautiful places to hike. Most of the Caminita is on a manmade walkway and although the gorge is beautiful, it is hard to appreciate when you are stuck with a group of people and have hundreds of people either ahead or behind you. We had to do the official guided tour and it was just not a peaceful walk through nature. If you have young kids or are older, it is a very easy walk to do. We and our young adult kids were completely bored.
