El Aguila Hotel

Good value - nothing special.

We stayed here for one nice en- route from ferry to Alicante. The hotel was in an industrial area and used by people working nearby as well as tourists. It was located near the motorway and easy to find. The price was excellent. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice bathroom with a bath. We would definitely stay again.

friendly staff, good value, excellent access to Zaragoza

Poor location,lack of room facilities,no dining on Sunday,dirty shower/bath walls/tiles. Information on line did not tell full picture. Staff very helpful.

Disappointing that their restaurant closed very early on a Sunday, spoilt the day after a long drive.

Rather run down area, and a hotel that seems to be undergoing some renovations

We had a nights stopover here en route to Caen ferry port, it was easy to find parking was not a problem. It was on the edge of an industrial estate but as it was a sunday it was very quiet so i cant comment on what it would be like on a weekday, mind you the was a wedding reception going on when we got there and it never disturbed us at all and our bedroom was on the same side as the party. Ok so it did look a little tired but it was very clean and the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and helpfull . We had eaten prior to arriving which was lucky as on a sunday evening the is no meals provided even so he did offer us sandwiches, we slept realy well here and wouldn't hesitate to visit again if in the area . Our only criticism was the breakfast was not the best we have had.but hey it was only 1 nights stay

Stayed for one night stopover driving north. Well situated for motorway. The room was small and cold and we had problems with the heating. The guy on reception came and after about an hour it was sorted. There was an awful smell from the waste in the bathroom and we had to keep the plugs in the basin & bath to try & stop it. The hotel is situated on an industrial park so.the views from the room of the asbestos roofs wasn't great. But ok for a night stop. The restaurant was a big surprise to us we had a fabulous 3 course dinner with wine for €14 pp.The waitress even had the menu translated -the food was tasty home cooked and very generously portioned. Lots of parking available and a short drive to Zaragoza for sightseeing.

Chose this hotel after reading trip advisor. An overnight stay to break a journey. Very comfortable room, excellent daily menu with generous wine included. Being English, would have appreciated tea & coffee facilities available in the room but overall, exceptional for a 3* hotel. Yes, is on an industrial estate but it felt safe. Address may be difficult for a sat nav but aim for Calle Rumania, Utebe and is then easy to find

I advise this hotel because of comfortable, free car parking, good reception and etc.
