Astari

The Astari is a small, quiet hotel, close to the ‘old town’ and to the beach. It’s clean, modern and the rooms are a good size. I’ve been here a few times now and loved it every time.

De airco stond direct gericht op de bedden. Die moesten we afzetten om niet ziek te worden. Normaal blaast dat voor de bedden.

Amazing location, between the beach (5min walk) and the old town (10-15mins walk). The room was lovely - clean, modern, nice view over the pool and the sea. The biggest beds I've ever seen - 2 doubles pushed together and so comfortable. Pool area is much bigger than it looked and sunbeds were always available. Quiet, peaceful vibes. Might be the time of year but it felt like an older crowd, we were the youngest staying there (we're in our 30s). Breakfast was great for a smaller hotel. Staff were really nice and accommodating. So much nicer than we thought it would be!

No free drinking water available (bottled, or in a dispenser) - just recieved the 1 bottle on the first day. It's not super close to any shops, so we got caught out and had to buy the expensive hotel water.

Friendly staff. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was nice. The pool was very welcome after a hot day's driving
