Villa Lara Hotel

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Proximity to the historic centre. View from the property is in valuable.

The flood of humans on our way to the property was daunting and it is pretty much unsafe as tourists kept wandering off and hitting the car.

Great location, quiet and out of the way . Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely especially when we could eat on the terrace with a fantastic view

The best hotel we have stayed in Italy so far. The service was amazing, the rooms clean & comfortable and the view is incredible. Quiet hotel yet really convenient for the town. Variety of breakfast choices and really enjoyed a drink in the evening over looking the town. Thoroughly recommend!!

My husband and I were blown away by this property. The staff was nice and helpful. They made dinner reservations for us. The property also has an elevator which is so so necessary if you have large luggage.

We had an amazing experience at the Villa Lara in Amalfi. It started with Tomaso giving us a great experience by pointing us in the direction of a private driver that gave us great insights into all the best restaurants, beaches and lemon farms in Almalfi, Minori and Māori. We also had the pleasure of meeting Danielle the night manager that made sure we had everything we needed to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was fantastic with a great view. There is no question that next year we will be staying at rhe Villa Lara as we explore more of the Amlafi a coast!

Great hotel in a great location. Staff are just awesome and and ready to help with anything you ask. The view from the breakfast area and superb. The hotel is very clean.

Nothing. Only note to future travellers, if you are taking a taxi to the hotel to be dropped off from the airport or ferry. please call the hotel and they will allow the car in the pedestrian street. if not, its about 9 mins walk from the main city area,

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lara. The property is on a quiet hillside with a beautiful view. The staff was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed chatting with Tomas and Nello.
