Lovely place to stay! It’s close to the main attractions, ferry, and bus station, making it very convenient. The staff were really helpful, and the whole place was spotless. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. We definitely plan to come back!

What a find! This hotel is perched at the end of the Main Street in Amalfi with spectacular views from the breakfast balcony. The walk from the town centre is relatively easy (do not be put off!). Yes, there are a few steps but a small lift glides you up to reception. The staff at the hotel are world class (5 stars), exuding warm and hospitality. It’s Nello, Tommaso and Valeria that are this hotel’s best asset. They welcome you like family, happy to suggest things to do/see. Tommaso was exceptional. Please consider serving plates of fresh fruit at breakfast (watermelon, peaches or nectarines). This would be very much appreciated. The addition of a constant supply of ice cold water or juice from the machine in the breakfast room was a great touch. I can’t recommend Villa Lara highly enough. We will definitely be back again.

Our stay at the Villa Lara was glorious! From its beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms and majestic views, this hotel stunned and delighted us. The service and staff were excellent; Valeria was so responsive and Tomaso was an incredible host; the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff does an excellent job communicating with you and making sure your transportation is set up. We dream of returning!

Villa Lara hotel is a little hidden gem. It’s a few minutes walk to all the restaurants, ferries and buses. If you want your trip to the Amalfi coast to be special then definitely book a stay here. The hotel has a personal touch with great advice on where to visit and how to get there. Capri and Ravello were a family favourite! Tommaso, Valeria, Nello and Anna Maria make you feel like it’s a home away from home. The rooms were all cleaned beautifully every day. We stayed for 8 days and loved every single moment, We are a family of 4. 10/10 all the way.

Getting to the hotel was a bit of a task...

Small boutique hotel within walking distance of the centre of Amalfi. Clean and comfortable rooms and great breakfast with amazing views. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Nothing! A point to bear in mind. There are several steps up to the hotel which may be a problem for elderly or those with heavy suitcases

Amazing Stay in Amalfi! Perfect location with a fantastic view! The breakfast was delicious, and the host was kind and welcoming. A truly memorable experience—highly recommended!

Fortunately this very nice quiet small hotel has an elevator but if you like exercise feel free to take the 200 stairs climb ;). The room was clean, comfortable, but a bit like a hobbit house with the sloping rafters overhead. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice view from the terraces.

Parking was 35 euros per day extra no kettle or tea in room.
