Short transfer from the airport and a stunning looking hotel, with all rooms a sea view. Large choice at breakfast.

Unfortunately, the pool didn't open until 8.30am, which I've never experienced before - we like an early morning swim and chill by the pool before breakfast and that seemed really late! Also meant that we were stuck in a chavvy 'race to get towels on sunbeds' scenario. We've been to the hotel before (out of holidays when quieter) and were disappointed this time that they'd got rid of quite a few sunbeds to make room for more Balinese beds which you then book and pay for. Lunch was disappointing, came out in minutes and was obviously pre-prepared which meant that the lettuce was brown and croutons soft in the caesar salad. The Blue Bar was lovely and did amazing cocktails but bizarrely closed on Monday and Tuesday night - in high season! Everywhere smelt a little damp and musty, no pool service, towels only able to be changed 3 times a week and no upgrade to All Inclusive available.
