Hotel Hostalillo by Escampa Hotels

We absolutely loved this hotel, from its stunning location to the wonderful friendly service of the staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Nice little restaurants/ tavernas along the seafront and we loved exploring this beautiful coastline and visiting places like the old town of Burgur for shopping and nice restaurants. We will definitely be back for a longer stay and would recommend this little gem of a hotel! A few little things to improve our stay: we would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms as we had a lovely little balcony overlooking the beach which would have been good for a nice morning or evening cuppa but had to go down to collect a coffee as no room service. Also as it was high season, the staff were working flat out down in the bar and my son-in-law had to wait a long time to get his baby son’s bottles sterilised in the microwave- it would have been good to have access ourselves to a microwave without having to wait /bother the poor server who was very busy but still took the trouble to help him. A cheaper breakfast option would also be good- one morning we only wanted some toast and fruit for the baby but you have to buy a full breakfast so an option for adults who don’t want a cooked breakfast would be good.

Amazing location and a lovely hotel. Staff very attentive and always helpful. Next time i would book a room overlooking the bay but had no complaints it was a lovely week - parking is an issue but once found all was ok. thank you for a great week

Beautiful location, simple, clean. Views from the hotel are stunning. Parking is easy to find. The staff are extremely accommodating…would love to stay here again. 10/10

Hotel was as wonderful as usual, BUT a coach full of teenage footballers really spoilt the stay due to their late night partying and noise!!

I made a reservation for June 21 on Feb 24th with Hotels.com. On Feb 25th I received an invitation to reserve parking with no email listed. I found their email on their website and requested a parking spot be reserved. I never heard back but the email did not bounce back. Upon arrival about 3PM, I was emphatically told that there was no spot for me. I looked up and showed the reception agent the email from them to me and the one I sent them. I was told since I did not have a confirmation number there was nothing they could do. A manager came out and told me the email they sent was automatically generated and they were probably all reserved four months in advance. He emphasized there was nothing that could be done. I was directed to park in an unsecured outdoor public lot a half mile away and with about a hundred stairs to return to the hotel. At no time did either person show any empathy, or express that they were sorry. They did not offer a ride back to the hotel from the parking spot, did not offer to compensate for the 3E charge, did not offer a discount on food or drink- nothing. They simply proved they had not issued a confirmation so that made them in the right. I told them that there would be no additional money spent with the hotel and I bought lunch, dinner, breakfast elsewhere. Upon checking out in the morning I informed the two at the counter that the unpleasant employes had ruined the stay and they stood there saying nothing. I said they might say Sorry -one did

This hotel has the perfect spot by the beach. You just walked down the stairs and you can enjoy the great view of the cala of Tamariu. The hotel is very pretty and their staff is beyond friendly. They really make you feel very comfortable. The bartenders Tomeu and Xavi, and Alex, Marcela and “el polaco” were absolutely incredible and service was amazing. We will definitely try to come back to this place.
