Hotel Il Nido

We had an amazing one-week stay at this beautiful hotel and truly loved every minute of it. The hotel is located just across from the famous Miramalfi Hotel, known from many social media videos, but slightly higher on the hillside, so the sea view is even more breathtaking. This is a lovely family-run hotel where everyone works with heart and soul. The atmosphere is always warm, friendly, and personal, and they really try to take care of every guest’s individual needs. The rooms are comfortable and the terraces are wonderful, with stunning views of the sea. Depending on the room type, you can enjoy either a smaller or larger private terrace. The lobby and breakfast area are surrounded by glass panoramic windows, so you can enjoy the incredible Amalfi view all the time. Breakfast was delicious and very varied every morning: scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pastries, cakes, fresh fruits, many different bakery products, and coffee or cappuccino prepared exactly how you like it. Everything while sitting in front of the beautiful sea view. A special positive detail for us was that the breakfast area had high-quality sun shades instead of temporary curtains or simple covers like we have seen in other places. Every member of the staff was kind and attentive — from the breakfast service to the housekeeping team. The hotel is also extremely pet friendly, which made us feel even more welcome. Another huge advantage in Amalfi is the parking situation, which is usually very difficult, but here it was perfectly solved with a comfortable and safe garage at a reasonable price. We could safely park both of our cars there. The mattresses and bedding were also extremely comfortable, and we slept very well every night. We highly recommend this hotel and honestly only have positive things to say about it. We would happily come back again.

The location was great, the rooms were a good size, and the staff was terrific and very helpful!

The hair dryers aren’t good and need to be replaced. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work.
