I chose AltDüsseldorf for its proximity to the old town and for having a bit of character, and on both of these points it didn’t disappoint. Our room for three was in a building across the street from the reception, and up three flights of stairs. The room itself was perfectly comfortable, if a little Spartan, however noise from the Street, including the nightclub downstairs, was an issue for those in our party without earplugs. The hotel staff were particularly friendly however, and breakfast was a good spread. Overall, I probably would stay again if visiting the city for a single night, but I think it is a little bit basic and noisy for a longest day.

My Friends without earplugs told me that noise from the street and the nightclub downstairs disturbed them until around 5 am. Eye on the other hand slept like a baby with my earplugs… our room was also up three flights of stairs, which the receptionist was apologetic about given that one of my friends walks with sticks, but it was okay for a single night stay.

Locatie is perfect en voor die prijs kun je niet hele hoge eisen stellen. Als je dat in je achterhoofd houdt was het hotel prima

Onderhoudt van het hotel en de kamer kan zeker beter. Veel herrie op straat, zeker ook 's nachts maar je zit natuurlijk wel midden in de stad daar moet je niet gaan zitten als je rust wil

Die Lage war super, die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber.

Insgesamt sehr einfach und schon etwas abgenutzt, z. B. kleine Schäden an den Badfliesen oder Kratzer auf dem Boden von den Möbeln. Es war aber alles sauber und frisch geputzt.

War alles super! Von dem Vierbettzimmer waren wir positiv überrascht! Richtig gemütliches Zimmer. Das Frühstück war auch lecker. Sehr nettes Personal. Preis Leistung mega! Und top Lage. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Zimmer der Lage nach vorne raus ( laut ) . Inventar müsste Mal erneuert werden .

Staff was very friendly. The location is very central but in a rowdy neighborhood. The breakfast was satisfactory.

The room was on the first floor above a bar. The music was rather loud until around 1 am.
