Hotel Lessing

This hotel is perfect and I felt extremely comfortable at this hotel. It‘s everything you‘re looking for in an accommodation, tidy room, great location with an excess to the city/transportation and for this hotel, there‘s many transportations. This hotel is one of the hotels you could tell that have been running the business for quite some time and the hotel has been refurbished. Of course, not every furniture was new but there is everything you could ask for: a room that is designed for people to feel comfortable (BIG room with various facilities like bathtub, big bed, big closet, even weighing scale (which I was so thankful for).

I don‘t think the cleaning service is the best, at least during my stay: the bathtub was not properly cleaned, both sets of my towels were dirty that I had to ask for a new one. And on my second morning, the cleaning lady was a bit upset that I was still in the room, so I had to let her clean my room with me standing there for about 10 mins.

The hotel is located not far from Litle Tokyo (around 15-20 min walk). It is not new, but has a cozy familiar atmosphere. As an older hotel it does not have that "smell of a new car" factor or furniture in pristine condition, but I do not mind as long as everything is functional plus the room is comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and all our needs were adressed promptly and without a fuss. Our room had a bathtub in the bathroom - always a plus, and (very important for me) water was always warm and with a very good pressure. I find the price/quality ratio was excellent. And a special plus - the hotel is dog friendly :)

I think for a price that the hotel is charging for it, the breakfast is really disappointing. First the positives. The breakfast restaurant is in the attic, very cozy and nice with good views. Unfortunately the breakfast itself could be much better. Of course it is a small hotel without a fully equipped restaurant kitchen, so I did really not expect a stupefying choice of things to eat. So my disappointment is mostly related to the quality of the items (for that price). Orange juice is just a cheap orange "drink" - the Tea is at best "German supermarket grade". (Which for me is really bad quality). For that price I would expect a real orange juice and a restaurant grade tea. To be fair not everything was "cheap" and it was possible to eat a tasty breakfast. I just think it is way overpriced.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage war für uns optimal, da die besuchte Person in der Nähe wohnt. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut

Badewanne ist für ältere Personen problematisch. Die Matratzen waren für unseren Geschmack zu weich.

Сніданок в цілому був добрий, хоча круасани були вчорашніми. Але ми наїлися. Менеджер на ресепшині Альберт був привітний та доброзичливий. Наші вікна виходили у двір. Білизна та рушники чисті. Ванна кімната чиста та оздоблена майже всім необхідним. Місце в підземному паркінгу було зарезервовано, як ми замовляли. До старого міста не дуже далеко, ми ходили пішки та дивились місто.

Номер був ну не дуже новий але чистий та тихий. Єдиний стілець треба вже міняти, бо продавлений і сидіти на ньому просто неможливо. Незручно розташовані розетки, крім того, вони не всі працюють.
