"We had to leave the room"

The staff was nice and kind

Unfortunately we found bed bugs in the beds. As a result, we asked the hotel for a full refund so that we could book accommodation elsewhere. The hotel agreed for a full refund, which we appreciated. However, the situation was still very inconvenient, as we had to find another hotel and move in at around 2:00 a.m.

"Appalling experience. Avoid."

Nothing

Hotel undergoing major re plastering in circulation corridors. No advanced warning. Carpets filthy. Contractors tools and equipment everywhere. Bedrooms were very very basic - furniture was 2nd hand old cheap oak units. Ensuite shower room sanitary ware was poorly finished.
