"Great location, friendly staff, good vfm."

The location was excellent- very central and made walking both down to the Bay and up to the castle and national museum very manageable. Alison was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of hot water. Everywhere was scrupulously clean, and the price was very welcome.

The room faced the main street which was very noisy - and the heat (we were in Cardiff on the hottest day so far this year) meant we kept the windows open and curtains closed, which didn't help. However there was a fan in the room. The decor is dated but serviceable, as was the bathroom suite.
