The Lodge Duxford

From the greeting and assistance to the room, food service in the evening and at breakfast, to our departure - wonderful service throughout. Great room and space in the stable block.

A few small issues pointed out on The Lodge's own survey form. Possibly the bed slightly too hard. Not a sound proof room as demonstrated by the copulating couple who must have been in training for the olympics (my decibel meter would have disapproved!)

Breakfast included usually good but not on this occasion Location great only if you come by car

Slow staff had to wait 10 mins at reception - lack of staff

there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were really nice and the waitress Grace was a real credit to the hotel ! Thanks to Grace and the team!
