Highlander Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’

The room was nice and spacious, beds comfy and bathroom was decent. Staff were really nice and the breakfast was lovely. A really nice place to stay when you're in the area.

The bed was hard! The shower floor was dodgy to stand on, very soft. Room needs updated! Also the cleaner barged in the room at 9.15am when we were still there as Checkout was 11am, she did not knock, took us by surprise.

Good location to stop for a night. On site bar and restaurant, very friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable room, good dinner and breakfast.

Lovely clean spacious room,delicious food and the staff are what really makes the hotel.Without exception,they are all,polite,friendly helpful and always make us feel very special and valued customers.

Meal in the restaurant was a highlight for both service and value. Ease of checking in and accessing the room.

Der Kaffe ist völlig ungeniessbar. Wie schon von anderen Gästen gesagt, ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben in Schottland zum gleichen Preis deutlich bessere Infrastruktur erlebt. Das Bett ist unbequem. Im Wasserkocher hatte es am Grund eine braune klebrige Masse. Auf meine Nachfrage bekamen wir sofort einen nigelnagelneuen Wasserkocher. Der Angestellte sagte, diese braune Masse se inormal, das sehe überall nach dem ersten Gebrauch schon so aus. Das stimmt natürlich so überhaupt nicht. Das Problem ist, dass Gäste das Kaffeepulver in den Kocher schütten und den Kaffee so erwärmen. Das ist banausenhaft. Das Hotel muss unbedingt bei den Wasserkochern abschreiben, dass diese nur zum Wasser erwärmen zu gebrauchen sind und nicht zum Kaffee brauen. Das Kaffeeulver gehört in die Tasse, das Wasser wird aufgeschüttet.
