All was lovely. We knew that the breakfast was an extra charge and decided not to do this as we would buy on route to our next place. However the young lady said we could have pain au raison or croissant free. When we came for breakfast the new lady tried to set the table for a full continental breakfast. Explained we were only having the croissant etc. When we were paying the new lady advised not free and was quite rude. The original girl had made a mistake, language problem, but no worry, but the new girl was very rude. Otherwise it was very good and friendly. Very good food

Service in the restaurant was very poor. we were ignored for nearly 45 mins until the manager ( not the head waiter )took over and served us.. We could not understand it . We were the third table to be seated, about ten other tables were then seated and served before us. There was an ant in one of our glasses of wine when it eventually came. The wine list was very expensive and may be the fact that we ordered the least expensive was a factor in the service.

The food was excellent, we ate there two of three nights. Room was cool, quiet. We were expected as per the booking, and we were able to come and go as we wished. We had eaten at the hotel before, but it is now under a different management regime. It was an improvement!

We chose not to have breakfast any of the three days we stayed. Room decor was a bit tired, the hair dryer didn't work. We could not access the mini bar, and there was a cupboard we could not open. We didn't ask anyone, and maybe one was not included in the room. One young waitress was particularly rude when I said I would decide whether I wanted a sweet course after my main course. She tried telling me that this was not acceptable. My guest, who speaks better French than I, repeated that I had said I would decide after my main dish. She made known her displeasure and flounced off. The sour taste this left was offset by another young waitress who was polite, delightful and chatty.

Nous avons commandé 3 cafés, des glaces et 3 verres d’eau pour accompagner. À ma grande surprise les 3 verres d’eau ont été facturés 8,70€. Dommage car tout le reste est très bien.
