Le Central Boutique Hôtel

L'accueil, le responsable de l'établissement est solaire et souriant, très professionnel, commerçant... un vrai plaisir ! De même que le reste de l'équipe. L'établissement est idéalement situé, et très agréable. Vous pouvez faire une soirée étape aussi très pratique.

Très bien situé, cet hôtel a répondu à notre attente. L'accueil est chaleureux. La possibilité de se faire une boisson chaude est appréciable, bien que nous ne l'ayons pas utilisée.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'ascenseur pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Nous avons été orientés vers la salle du petit-déjeuner qui est relativement impersonnelle, sur la terrasse cela aurait été plus agréable.

Affordable and very central. Beaune though is very small and distances short, so you dont have to be this central really. Hotel is bit dated, dont expect the shinyness of modern hotels, but everything is clean and personnel helpful and friendly even for non-french speakers. Breakfast was good, not always the case with french hotels and 14.x eur price friendly for a traveller. Parking works the following way, book the parking, leave the car to one of the 2 spots almost in front of the hotel and leave the keys to tiny reception while checking in, someone else drives to the car to garage, which is somewhere else. Handy, but ofcourse bit worrisome to leave the rental cars to someone. Anyway this worked fine and no scratches to a car either. Beaune is way more french than say Annecy, the only languages I heard were french (and american english ofcourse...). Few tables utside of the hotel for having drinks and a cozy “living room” kind a room inside and another on the 2nd floor.

We loved Beaune and this property is in a very central location to see the city. The staff were very accommodating and nice. Breakfast was good value. Lots of restaurants nearby. The old hospice (hospital) was nearby to tour. lots of opportunity for wine.

A fake “Deluxe” room and terrible reception service We booked a Deluxe room. What we received was nowhere near Deluxe. If this is their Deluxe category, I do not want to imagine what the cheaper rooms are like. The Booking.com photos and description are misleading. We saw two rooms, and neither matched what was advertised. No safe, although it was promised. No coffee machine, although it was promised. No drinking water. No minibar. One room had a sitting bathtub with a narrow shower area. This is not Deluxe — this is false expectation. The receptionist working on 19.05.2026 made the experience even worse. She should not work with hotel guests. Instead of helping, she argued, rolled her eyes, gave no apology, and did nothing to solve even the simplest issue. No safe? No apology. No coffee machine? No apology. No water? No apology. Even after all this, nobody brought even one bottle of water to the room. Parking was requested in advance but was full. A socket was broken. The internet was weak in the evening and useless for work. The TVs are ancient. This hotel charges a premium only for its location. Everything else is far below acceptable standards. Save your money. Choose almost any hotel at half the price — it will probably be better. We have travelled around the world for more than 15 years, and this is only the second hotel that disappointed us so badly. Even considering that it is a 3-star hotel, this was unacceptable. Avoid.
