Citotel Du Port Rhu

Hotel rénové,parking tout près ,bon accueil le responsable est sympathique et nous a même proposé spontanément une chambre cote ville non prévue initialement et au même prix,bon petit déjeuner

Excellent hotel, staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasure. Plenty of parking either at kerbside or across the road in public car park. Just a stroll down the hill and across the river to the creperies and bars in the lovely old harbour.

Good location across the river from the town. Fairly easy to walk across the pedestrian bridge or the vehicle bridge into the center of town. Very affable and helpful desk clerk. Good crepes restaurant two doors down. Easy free parking in public lot directly across the street from the hotel. No fancy decor, but clean and comfortable room. We did not have a view from our room, but there may have been river views from the dining room or other rooms.

The hotel rooms are recently renovated and surprisingly good for a two start hotel. We stopped for a night and everything was quite nice. Would recommend definitely.

We were greeted by the owner who was very kind and welcoming.. apologising for his English when it was great (just wish my french was better!). There was easy and ample parking for the hotel. The rooms were clean and not too small with noticeably modernised bathrooms. Although the hotel is not in the centre of town it is within easy walking distance on a fine day and the walk is a pleasant one (over a bridge across the river/port to the town centre side). The hotel has it's own restaurant and the menu looked good (didn't get to sample it as it didn't open Sunday evenings) but we did have breakfast in there, was very nice and best of all the view!! It looks over the port and the town, great start to the day!!
