Odd really that the restaurant is well above average and very busy so one would expect veery nice cosy boutique rooms to match but non! The rooms are well past there best and in need of serious refurbishment. We checked in and our room stank of bleach and bug spray, it was so overpowering. We had to ask to change our pillows because they stank something rotten. They weere changed without question but one does wonder about the quality of housekeeping

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für 1 - 2 Nächte kann man es dort aber gut aushalten.

I booked the hotel through this web site and received an confirmation e-mail by return. However, on the day when we planned to stay on 5 May 2016, the owner of this hotel phoned me and told that there was no room available for you due to overbooking, then we(the owner) booked another hotel in front of us. I told that since I had no information on that another hotel, how could I accept your proposal right now ? The owner told if you didn't want to agree, the reservation would be cancelled and you had to find a hotel by yourselves. The same argument was continued for a while, but nothing changed. Then, I decided to go to the hotel first to discuss face to face. After arrival, I required them to compensate for this issue, but, they didn't wish to do so and told that 'wasting time'. How can I believe this kind of terrible behaviour by the hotel ? Finally, they reluctantly accepted paying breakfast for us at the another hotel and told bye-bye which meant getting out here. I have never experienced this kind of impolite behaviour by any hotels in the past, even though I have had nothing wrong. I hope you understand what I experienced and you will not be a next victim.

Rooms very simple, somewhat outdated furniture but OK for a two nights stay. Good breakfast and very good restaurant. We took the taxi to get to and from the hotel as it is located out of the city centre.

Sehr freundliches Personal, wunderschönes Zimmer, viele Tiere, klasse Service und hervorragendes Essen im Restaurant.

En positif = accueil sympathique et professionnel, chambre fonctionnelle et accessoires de salle de bain complet En négatif = odeur de javel (ou autres produits) en entrant, moquette salle et pas très bonne isolation. Il serait bien de penser à renover la partie nuit maintenant que le restaurant et ses verandas sont fait

Leider hat sich bei den Hotelzimmern ein Renovierungsstau gebildet. Dafür ist das Restaurant ein wahrer Juwel mit hervorragendem Service und edlen Gaumenfreuden zu einem sensationellen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Da waren wir echt positiv überrascht. Der nächste Restaurantbesuch ist schon geplant.

Restaurant d'excellente qualité mais à des années lumières de la prestation Hotellerie.... Chambres d'une autre époque, pas de clim (période de canicule je souligne), fenêtres difficiles à ouvrir et en RDC, lits durs et coussins inconfortables, joints moissis autour de la baignoire..... A part de cela le cadre en pleine forêt est très agréable et le resto est top.
