Grand Hôtel d'Orleans

I had to switch rooms due to faulty AC Got moved to a tiny room with no deadlock AC did work however Staff were very helpful and friendly

Really nice hotel with plenty of free parking opposite. Friendly helpful staff, would definitely use again.

Hotel was 15 minute walk from old town, next to Railroad station where you can park free.

Albi was a very interesting city and not well publicized.

1st time to Albi and what a surprise. So much to see and do, we were there 4 days and could have doubled that.

Friendly, helpful service, quality breakfast items and good location for visiting old city.

This was a 5 star hotel at 3 star price. We loved how spacious, lovely, clean our room was. It had more amenities than all the budget hotel we had frequented, including an electric water kettle and facial tissue. We got free parking right outside the hotel and walked just a short way to the attractions, shops and restaurants. The train station was right across the street.

We arrived late at night and left somewhat early the next morning, but enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location, directly across the street from the railroad station, absolutely convenient. No noise problems (it's more of a suburban setting) and a nice view of the surrounding countryside from our hotel room. We didn't take the buffet breakfast and cannot comment about it.

Very friendly and accommodating staff that really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Appreciated thoughtfulness towards my son. Had diner at the hotel purely for convenience sake as we were tired and was pleasantly surprised of how good it was. We had breakfast delivered in the room and that was okay. Missed fresh fruits instead of fruitcocktail from can. Otherwise rooms were very large and clean, modern bathroom. Small pool that we did not use. Parking available against a small fee that we used.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel d'Orleans. It was very easy to get to with our bags yet only a short stroll to the old town. We were disappionted that we couldn't make ourselves a hot drink, especially since we had cold wet weather. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and well insulated for cold and noise. We were disappointed thay we did not get to use the push bikes, that were so convenient in the foyer, because of the weather.
