Hôtel les Cigales

The location is spectacular, hard to beat between Nice Ville and the harbor. We also appreciated that the staff provided us water regularly.

Upon check in, our room was infested with mosquitos; we spent an hour with a member of the staff killing dozens of bugs. Never experienced anything like it — dozens of mosquitos, trying to kill each of them one by one. The staff said they couldn’t provide any refund (and this was the last room), so instead he offered us breakfast… which felt like a very unsatisfactory response, to say the least. Beyond this, the room felt regularly uncomfortable; neither the bed nor the pillows were great, and you can hear every single thing outside of the room. With the air conditioning also struggling in the first night, we also needed an extra fan to help keep the room cool. Overall, just not a pleasant or comfortable experience, and would recommend anyone spend their money elsewhere.

La posizione.

Camera molto molto piccola e buia per quello che ho pagato, aveva una finestra all’interno del palazzo con muro davanti. La cosa che mi ha lasciata senza parole è stata che scesa in sala colazione ho avuto il disgusto di vedere la frutta ammuffita come dalle foto. Ovviamente non ho fatto più colazione in quanto era anche povera di cibo.

O box com banheira, um dos lados do quarto apresenta o teto rebaixado que tinha que ter cuidado para na bater a cabeça e a garagem fiquei 4 noites só reservaram 2 noites

Central location. Very pleasant and professional welcoming staff.

Air conditioning was a little poor. Didn’t reach cold temperatures effectively, but was sufficient. A good positive point would be to have some lighting on the terrace just enough to highlight a beautiful space.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la chambre moderne, l’accueil très sympathique, la facilité d’accès, l’emplacement de l’hôtel et le très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Quelques petits détails pourraient être améliorés : la poignée de la porte de la salle de bain se détachait, l’insonorisation des chambres pourrait être meilleure, et les oreillers n’étaient pas à notre goût. Cela n’a toutefois pas gâché notre séjour.
