Hôtel en face de la gare Nice-Ville, très pratique si on veut faire des escapades à Monaco, Cannes etc... Bâtiment ancien très atypique et proche des transports en communs.

Comme c'est un bâtiment ancien il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, heureusement nous étions au premier étage. Je n'ai pas aimé le petit-déjeuner, beaucoup trop basique. Je pense que l'hôtel devrait abandonner cette prestation. Comme on est près de la gare, il y a du bruit mais c'est logique.

4 floors with no elevator, and no one helps you with the luggage. There was a terrible sewage smell in the bathroom — apparently, the shower drain is not equipped with a backflow valve. At the same time, it is impossible to ventilate the bathroom separately, as there are neither windows nor forced ventilation. As a result, after using the toilet, you have to air out the entire room — even briefly opening the bathroom door is enough for the smell to spread throughout the room. The soundproofing is very poor — neighbors can be clearly heard. Some of the power outlets in the room were also not working.

- topligging: je stapt uit het station Nice Ville en je ziet het hotel voor je neus liggen. En vlakbij tramhalte Thiers van lijn 1, waarmee je rap aan Place Massena (en de zee), Vieux Nice en Colline du Château bent. Maar de afstand naar Place Massena en de zee is ook goed te voet te doen - toen ik boekte las ik een paar negatieve reacties over het onvriendelijke personeel, maar score was 7,9 voor personeel en toch maar er op gewaagd: al diegenen die ik ontmoette waren alleszins heel vriendelijk, zo kon ik bijvoorbeeld vroeger ontbijten dan het normale uur (vanaf 8u) om een trein te halen - ontbijt: beetje prijziig voor 13 euro: maar à la Française (jus d'orange, grote koffie, croissant, jam, stuk stokbrood), in Frankrijk heb ik niet dezelfde verwachtingen als in Engeland - grote mooie kamer - hoe langer ik er bleef, hoe meer ik verliefd werd op alle nostalgische details in het interieur, zowel in mijn kamer, in de gangen (lamp met katten en muizen, kristallusters ...) en in de ontbijtruimte (hoed, kepie, foto zwart/wit tram en station, oude naaimachine met gloeilamp erc) En kijk ook al eens goed naar de receptie, echt prachtig. En dan die deuren in alle kleuren, heerlijk
