Hotel De L'Atelier

The most charming stay! Our family of 3 had a room with one king bed + a single bed and a private bathroom on the ground floor. What came as a welcome surprise was a private terrace overlooking a quiet little garden (that also had a skittish little black cat watching you from the undergrowth). Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, delicious cakes, freshly squeezed OJ - the works. Sweet snacks and tea/coffee available by the reception all day long. Location is just outside Avignon, and although smaller than its neighbour, Villaneuve has character of its own, we enjoyed strolling through its beautiful streets. We arrived with a rentacar but decided to park it and take the bus around the corner to the city, easiest thing ever. To sum up, we loved everything about this stay, would definitely stay here again.

A mini fridge in the room wouldn't hurt, more so to store a bit of our own food than anything else, but we managed just fine without it.
