Hotel La Badia

Beautiful property, very friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book there again in a heartbeat.

The staff was so kind. The rooms were great size, amazing view, bar was peaceful, pool was amazing. Breakfast was great.

Ubers/cabs were expensive (not hotels fault), the shortcut walk to town helped.

Views were stunning. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

What a treat it was to stay at La Badia, a lovely hotel with lots of charm and wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. The setting could not be more beautiful, with a terrace/bar overlooking the bay and Vesuvius, and a tranquil pool if you fancy a lazy day. It's out of the way up the hill but there's a quiet path which takes you down into Sorrento, about a 20-min walk from the centre. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly (and all spoke excellent English, if you're worried about that sort of thing). They helped us to book a restaurant on one of the evenings* and a boat trip that we'd wanted to take, with pick-ups from and back to the hotel for both, and ordered us a takeaway pizza on another night to eat in the bar. The rooms are a little bit dated but in a charming way, and also very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Sorrento. *I was cautious about this at first but I would say don't be put off by a hotel suggesting a restaurant – they gave us the names of 4 or 5 and we checked them out online before booking. The whole thing was very convenient, especially if you've been travelling all day and want the hassle taken out of it. We got picked up in a car and dropped back after the meal. The restaurant itself was also great, and we sat on the terrace and watched the sun set as we ate.

El hotel es hermoso, pero ademas la tranquilidad que hay es perfecto para relajarse después de todo un dia de excursiones. La pileta es hermosa y tiene una vista muy linda

Todo fue perfecto, si tuviera que agregar algo seria que tuviera la posibilidad de cenar porque la comida es muy rica

La ubicación Las vistas al mar Ideal para descansar alejados del centro ( se puede bajar caminando, 10 min , y subir en transporte público o taxis.

El bar/ desayunador, hermosa terraza con vista al mar solo ofrece bebidas por la tarde.

The View is amazing and the view on the walk into town is awesome. The breakfast is excellent and in a beautiful spot, and our room was very clean with a fantastic view also.
