Very relaxing, great location. Short drive to town. The hotel sit's high above the city and you have a great view.

Facilities: Ageing but still great; Value: Fantastic;

I have just returned from this hotel which is far up in the hills with no public transport although there is a shuttle bus down the hill. Staff are friendly but the general feel of the place is that is it somewhat run down but there is live entertainment on most nights. Please be wary walking outside the hotel as there are packs of stray dogs who do not want you to venture in their territory and do get vicious when you are near them. I discussed this with the hotel and the council do not want to do anything about this problem which seems to be rife around the area.

just about average !!

Just to clear any fog that may be in the air-hotel stars in the US does not compare to hotels in Europe. This was a four star hotel that would be rated as a bad motel in the US if that. However relative to other hotels in the areas, this hotel had a great view of the city, outside the hotel was well maintained, respectable staff etc. Inside the hotel; there is a T.V. I think its 15 inches with three channels, there is internet-but you have to pay for it, the rooms are pretty small (Europe again), and the water is not drinkable. Besides that, its a great place to spend the night and enjoy breakfast and a free ride from and to the center of the city.
