Hotel Benois

The hotel was great. Nice staff, great pool, good breakfast.

Only thing missing was a mosquito screen. Some other rooms had them but our didn’t so we couldn’t sleep with the door open. But absolutely not w deal break. 100% would stay there again.

The hotel was in a lovely location with a beautiful pool. I had a room overlooking the sea and the sunset which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size. The breakfast was delicious. Hot food and homemade cakes. Bus stop just 100 m down the road to visit the Capital. Staff were lovely. They have a book swapping service, so I swapped a book I had read for a different one. The receptionist helped me book a boat tour to see the church built into the cave. It was only 20 euros and there were only 6 of us on the tour. The boat tour is a must, it was WOW.

The TV had a line in the picture and seemed very old. I didn't say anything as I had my book, the seaview and generally most of the programmes are in greek.

The staff at the Benois are brilliant, they are extremely friendly and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble and they are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and well presented. The pool and outside areas are very comfortable. Breakfast has something to offer all tastes. The restaurant serves a varied and tasty menu. The hotel is about 15 minutes in a taxi from the capital although the local bus service is an excellent way to see the island. There are other restaurants and eateries within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as part of our island hopping holiday.

Nice hotel not too big, great swimming pool. Close to beach and to a few nice restaurants!

The room was a little cramped, the shower was small and leaked water all over the floor

Lage, Frühstück Zimmer Personal alles top, toller Strand, und wer eine stille Bucht bevorzugt kommt nach 10 Minuten Fußweg auf seine Kosten da die Saison (Ende September) in Galissas schön langsam zu Ende geht, und einige Lokale schon geschlossen hatten, haben wir auch im Hotel zu Abend gegessen, es war ausgezeichnet. Die Hauptstadt Ermoupoli mit dem Auto 15-20 Minuten entfernt, bietet unzählige Lokale, Shops usw sowie das spektakuläre Ano Syros
