Amazing experience! The reception staff greet you with the warmest welcome on arrival from Ioanna and her team. The rooms are clean and made up whenever you want. The chef George makes the most delicious meals and the restaurant staff are incredible. Special thanks to Angeliki, Thanos, Vasiliki, Eleni, Maria Ivanidou, Vaso Klonatidou, Giorgos Shandalahis, Ioanna Giakeiui, Kirollos, Stratos, Konstantinos and ALL the restaurant team. We miss you so much! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The owners have found an incredible team of people to look after us. Coming back, hopefully October.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The food was absolutely excellent, with every meal fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was the kindness and warmth of the staff — not just toward the guests, but also toward the cats around the property. It was lovely to see how well they were cared for and treated with such compassion. That small detail said a lot about the people here. We felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay can’t wait to go back. Marie and Anna appeared to be the hotel cats, staff told us they have been there some years. They both love a little fuss and to share your sunbed with some fresh water . Please look out for them 😺The hotel is spotless and so well maintained. The staff really do work so hard and nothing is to much trouble.

Alles was top! dit hotel overtrof al onze verwachtingen. Het personeel is echt fantastisch, super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Faciliteiten ook top. Ik had bij de boeking niet door dat er ook een binnenzwembad was en een play area voor de kids. Parkeren was ook easy.

A truly fantastic stay at Theartemis Palace Hotel in beautiful Rethymnon. This hotel absolutely deserves special recognition for the incredible team who made our holiday so memorable. A huge thank you to Eleni in Guest Relations who was simply amazing throughout our stay — professional, friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast staff worked incredibly hard every single morning and always did so with a smile, creating such a welcoming atmosphere to start the day. Special thanks also to Jessica in the bar who was fantastic throughout our stay and helped make the evenings so enjoyable with her friendly service and warm personality. A big thank you as well to Leonidas and Nancy on reception who were both exceptional — always welcoming, professional and incredibly helpful whenever we needed assistance or advice. And of course, special mention to Lefteris the concierge whose local knowledge, friendliness and attention to detail really added something special to the whole experience. The entire team genuinely made us feel valued as guests and all played a huge part in making this such a wonderful holiday. Our room was excellent with both pool and sea views, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect — literally two minutes from the beach and within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town and harbour area of Rethymnon. The facilities throughout the hotel were outstanding. The grounds were immaculate at all times, the main pools were excellent and the additional pool area in the other block was a fantastic extra space to relax. The indoor pool and fitness room were also a great addition and showed the quality of the hotel overall. Honestly, this hotel should be rated as a five-star property based on the service, facilities and overall guest experience. Thank you once again to everyone at Theartemis Palace Hotel for such an unforgettable stay in Crete. Hopefully we’ll be back again very soon!

mostly friendly staff, secure parking and the location.

our arrival experience was very disapointing. the check-in was quite ackward as we asked for access to the parking they first said there is no space left and we should park the car somewhere at the street. we insisted that we need parking and somehow they had space for us. as arrived at the parking lot there was plenty of space. no welcome drink was offered to us, but to other guests. the cleanliness was not impeccable, we found hair in the bath room which can be overlooked by housekeeping staff, but not by the housekeeper supervisor. for a hotel of such standard a bit disapointing.

Theartemis Palace is an exceptional hotel from the amenities to the staff! We stayed here before our wedding in May 2026, I had been emailing one of the guest managers prior to our visit and she met us at reception when we arrived and made us feel so at ease and welcome. They assisted me with getting my wedding dress pressed before my big day and even gave us champagne on our wedding night. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special! Not only were the staff exceptional but the breakfast, cleanliness and hotel amenities were 5 star as well!

We were staying here while getting married at the nearby Agreco Farm, and the staff couldnt do enough for us and our wedding party/guests. Nothing was too much trouble.
