Europa Hotel

Great property and staff. Very welcoming , knowledgeable and helpful . They gave us plenty of tips . Diner was great and pool terrace is gorgeous. I actually find that the exterior pictures on Expedia don’t do the hotel , pool and restaurant justice: We found the rooms and hotel to be much nicer than what we were expecting. Great bedding and room too. Will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Olympia. Oh and don’t forget to check out the 3D VR glasses tour of Olympia.

The grounds are just beautiful. Food was amazing from the snacks at the pool to the excellent dinner options served outside at the awesome outdoor restaurant. Pool was cool and refreshing.

The staff was excellent. The restaurant’Taverna The Garden’ was superb in service and food quality.

Our bed was very comfortable! We had a sitting are with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The pool and the mountain scenery was beautiful. The Hotel restaurant was Outstanding!!! The restaurant, lovely atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, beautiful views, delicious food and impeccable service. It really was that good. I would recommend the restaurant to those not even staying at the hotel.

Very hospitable.

This hotel was a real find. We stayed as a family of 4 for 3 nights in a heatwave in August. There'd been a last minute change to our plans and there weren't any standard rooms left so we ended up with a suite, which the kids loved, having their own room and bathroom, with an interconnecting hall area. Our room was huge! A standard room would have been more than enough, though, for our family. There were insect screens on the doors but they weren't necessary as there were no mosquitoes. From the moment of arrival all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to go and when, advising us where to park, etc The breakfast was awesome, with lots of space. The food in the Taverna restaurant was lovely, with lots of extras on the house, the setting fabulous, and the sunset view across the hills magical! It really was an oasis. The pool was very large, much bigger than it appeared in the weibsite photos, and very deep. I think deep pools without a real shallow end may be a Greek thing. They did provide some plastic rings for less confident swimmers. There is a nice bar area and seats at one end, and loads of loungers with parasols around the sides and up a terraced area at the back. The whole is set in an orchard of fruit trees. The ruins were attractively landscaped, with trees and shade. I also enjoyed the 2 museums on the same ticket, especially the Museum of the Olympic Games in Antiquity. Go early (8am) to avoid tour bus groups and heat!

This hotel was wonderful in every way. The service was outstanding, the location is beautiful and convenient to downtown Olympia. The pool area is lovely and the food is superior—both the breakfast buffet and the restaurant. We highly recommend everything about Europa.

Amazing hotel, staff, property and breakfast. Exceeded expectations!!!! Make sure to get a dinner reservation for the Garden Restaurant, best meal of my life!

Nice room with separate sitting area, balcony looking over pool and beautiful gardens. Very well kept. Outstanding breakfast with many, many options. Really helpful staff. And for all that, a great value as well. Absolutely consider if staying in ancient Olympia.
