"The Worst Experience of Our Honeymoon"

2.0

The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a hotel. No reservation system besides a piece of paper with their own handwriting on it. They didn't have our reservation, couldn't properly communicate with us and or look it up. Last minute fit us in, then when I explained that we already paid for the reservation I was told, "yes ok". Upon checkout I was given yet another hand wrote bill for more then hotel.com quoted me. I tried to explain again that we paid, showing again our confirmation. After being yelled at we eventually paid AGAIN (not wanting conflict in another country). Will be contacting hotels.com in regards to some kind of refund. Don't go there! Honestly what a mess..

"Good value for location"

8.0

We stayed for one night as part of our road trip to Ancient Olympia. The hotel is within a 15 min walk to main attractions (ancient ruins and museums). The staff was friendly and courteous. Only cons is that the decor could use a refresh, and the WiFi was spotty at times.

"GREAT value for the money"

10.0

This place is a few minutes from the center, but well-worth it. If you have a car, definitely stay here. It's well kept, good staff, good breakfast. The grounds have many fruit trees - orange, fig, pomegranate. So pleasant.

"Short ride to downtown and historical sites"

6.0

booked online without much prior knowledge of the area or hotel itself. Chose this hotel for advertised larger room for family of four and pool. Overall facility was average to good. Room was just large enough for two twin beds and two roll away cots. Very little space for anything else. Had to use only available desk top space for luggage. bathroom was adequate but sink top was very small, barely big enough for basic toiletries. Only place to put towels was in the shower. Biggest recommendation I would give the staff is to add a few towel racks and a small added counter top space if you will tout this suite as large enough for a family. Breakfast buffet was average. We did not stay to eat dinner poolside. Instead we went into town. Pool was pretty good and they did provide nice pool towels when requested. Most visitors appeared to be using their own. Not a lot of pool chairs or shade to get out of the sun as they were claimed by a few families with a number of kids. Lots of open deck area though went unused. A few umbrellas might be good for that space. pool was decent size and offered some shade in the deepest end as it was located under a cantilevered pool deck around the bar area.

"Spartan hotel - close to Ancient Olympia"

4.0

This hotel is conveniently located close to the Ancient Olympian site. It is about a 5 minutes drive to the parking lot. The hotel itself was very bare. Breakfast was not fully ready when we got there at 7:15 and we had to ask for hot water for our tea which was barely lukewarm. Breakfast spread was just ok. Hotel felt more like hostel (YMCA) than a hotel.
