Guests should kindly note that vehicles are not allowed on the island of Hydra, with the sole exception of 3 trucks that belong to the municipality and are used for garbage collection. Any other vehicles are strictly forbidden, including the use of bicycles and scooters. Guests can reach Hydra Island either through Piraeus Port via ferry or through Metochi Port of Argolida (located 112 mi from Athens) via sea taxi. Please note that all standard rooms are located on the ground floor. This hotel participates in the Greek Breakfast Initiative by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. "Excellent small hotel in a great location."

The location was perfect, glad it wasn’t any higher up the hill. Breakfast was great, everything to suit our different appetites. The staff were always friendly and courteous. The buildings are very well maintained and clean. We were allocated a room which was superior to the one we booked so this was a lovely surprise a d much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Hydra.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but a couple of surprises we weren’t expecting. First, our room was in the annex which meant we felt slightly apart from the main hotel. Secondly our terrace was shared. Once we got used to the idea, it was fine. Over 8 days we had periods of no neighbours (ideal) unfriendly neighbours and finally very friendly neighbours. All in all it worked out fine and we had a lovely stay.

"Amazing stay in Hydra"

Hydra is a beautiful island and Hotel Angelica is great too. The location is ok, only 5-7 min away from the harbour, main attractions and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious, clean and renovated. Andreas who took care of us is an amazing person, very helpful and always smiling. We were two women and it’s super safe and convenient. I’d definitely stay there again when visiting Hydra

Everything was great. In case you have accessibility issues there are few stairs but you can stay at the first floor.

"A wonderful stay on a beautiful island!"

A beautiful room on a quiet street just up from the port. The father/son owners were very friendly and helpful. They shared interesting information about the island. Great walking, shopping and restaurants.
