Auberge Saint Pierre

It was wonderful to spend the night at Mont St Michel in a 14th century building. Don't expect luxury, but everything was clean, organized and comfortable. The staff was serious, but helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. In the morning, we had the entire town to ourselves and were the first to walk into the cloister. Definitely worth the effort.

Breakfast was not included.

They have zero flexibility.

It was on the Mont.

We thought we had booked at the main hotel, near the main gate. I booked this hotel purposefully to avoid having to climb far up into the town. However, we learned that we had actually booked at a satellite location, the annex, which was up many many, many many stairs. Booking.com needs to do a better job of making clear that the hotel has many different properties, so you need to be careful to ensure you are booking the property you want!
