Villa Casanova

Location is great close to the main road of Lido and the traghetto station. Fantastic breakfast comfortable breakfast room. Bedroom under roof was in great renovated state with cleaning every day.

I would book next time a room in ground or 1st floor as the ceiling was low under the roof and there were no other than a roof window.

Sehr schöne Gegend ! Ruhiger als in Venedig selber. Kurzer Weg zu den Fähren nach Venedig (Dauer ca 15min). Sehr schöne Villa sehr sauber und alles ist schön hergerichtet. Extrem nettes Personal. Alles in allem sehr seriös und professionell und trotzdem familiäre Atmosphäre.

Amazing stay in a beautiful, quiet location with a very relaxed Italian atmosphere. Check-in was smooth, check-out even easier, and the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and spoke English well. They also gave helpful advice about transfers (and what app to use to navigate the public transport) and were always open to questions. The room was not huge, but it had everything we needed: very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed with enough pillows and blankets, safe, fridge, good storage, AC, thick curtains (not fully black out but worked good enough for us), and a lovely small terrace area attached to the room that made a big difference. We also really enjoyed the afternoon tea there. Breakfast was excellent and always on time. A big plus was the coffee, freshly prepared by a barista instead of from a machine. It was also nice to have the option to sit outside on the shaded terrace. Parking spots and luggage storage were very convenient as well.

Only very minor points: there was no full-length mirror, and the bedside sockets were shared with the lamps, so charging a phone next to the bed was a little less practical. The shower can splash a bit, but they provide bath mats daily, so it was not an issue for us at all.
