The stay was awesome. The rooms were big, the bathroom and toilet were very spacious and there was lots of light. It was cosy and comfortable. There was free parking, it was in a great location and the breakfast was good. The staff were extremely warm, especially Simon in the front office/reception. We would definitely come back.

No lift. But the hotel staff will help you with the luggages.

We loved staying in this hotel. It has the perfect mix of everything that we like. A beautiful old building in typical Austrian style and yet with contemporary rooms and bathrooms. This hotel is also small enough to feel cosy and personal. The breakfast on offer every morning is very good and high quality, including very nice coffee. The location is exceptional. Tranquil and relaxing and with that iconic view over Salzburg and its castle from the front of the building. We would have loved to move in 🥰

The only slight negative is that there is no lift, yet we can understand that with the age and style of the building, this would not be possible without ruining it. We managed.
