Villarena Relais

The property is located in a beautiful spot. It was not super expensive, the room was spacious, and it was very clean.

The restaurant was yummy, but it was not amazing (try Quattro Passi if staying here). In addition, the rooms were practical, but there was nothing super impressive about them. Finally, the staff were friendly, but when we left something there, they did not make an effort to return our things despite seeing that we left those things there. It also obviously has no sunset view given its location.

We loved every single moment we spent here! The owner and the staff were amiable and thoughtful people. The view of the sea and Nerano is simply breathtaking. 🩷

Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Helped us book excursions and order a takeaway one night. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice, generous portions and all freshly prepared. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice it was so good! Again, all fresh, lots of choice and daily specials. We did the wine tasting at the hotel too which was a fab experience - generous with the wine and lots of local cheese, meats and pasta to accompany. The room was pleasant. We stayed in the apartment so there were lots of rooms and it was very spacious. There are two terraces, one with an amazing view. It’s decorated nicely and equipped with everything you need (apart from beach/pool towels that you have to pay for). Pool and pool area are lovely.

The bed was probably the hardest we’ve ever slept on! A softer mattress would be welcomed. Otherwise we had a fabulous stay and would recommend!

The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We were welcomed with warmth and treated this way for the whole stay! Nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful time. The food and wine is outstanding - you need to do the gourmet wine tasting; it is an unforgettable experience.

Such a friendly place to stay. The hosts were amazing and made us a delicious dinner upon arrival. They helped to organize all of our activities which was amazing. Would definitely come back.

Nothing. it was perfect

Great setting, beautiful view to the sea. The property has great food options with ingredients from the garden. The villa is close to a trailhead that leads to an amazing hike with a beach. Because of the building's thick stone walls, it's has a great temperature in a hot day. Kitchen is well equipped.

The water pressure was not reliable, mostly very low and one night not even working. Unfortunately the first night the bathtub leaked and flooded the whole bathroom + water got out to the bottom floor rooms. After we talked to the staff they seemed to fix the problem. The internet in the master bedroom wasn't working. The beds are not very comfortable.

Giovanna was amazing. She explained everything clearly to us and helped with a smooth check in. The food on site is good as well as well as the option for wine tasting.
