"Fantastic location, wonderful hotel!"

A great location and the perfect spot to experience Eze. The Continental Breakfast was delicious and most adequate. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.

"The hotel’s website photos are fake and deceptive"

2.0

I recently booked a Superior Double Room with Balcony at Chateau Eza Hotel through Expedia. Before booking, I double-checked the hotel's website to ensure the view was authentic. Expecting to enjoy the stunning sea and mountain views shown in their official photos, I paid EUR 590.40 per night for this experience. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that six large sun umbrellas were tightly positioned together, completely blocking the view from the balcony. This significant obstruction was never disclosed in any images or descriptions, making the listing highly misleading. The hotel’s website photos are fake and deceptive—they do not reflect the actual room conditions, which is entirely dishonest to guests. To make matters worse, the hotel ignored my complaint and refused to provide any resolution. Their lack of transparency and customer service is unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking here, as the hotel does not deliver what they advertise and dismisses guest concerns.

"Belle of the French Riviera"

10.0

Magical stay! Charming and beautiful hotel with professional, guest focused, friendly, positive, and helpful staff. Rooms were well appointed, super clean, and had loads of charm and character! And the view from the terrace… arguably the best in the French Riviera.

"Wonderful experience Chateau Eza"

10.0

This hotel is magnificent. It is a bit of a hike up to the hotel but quaint and lovely every step of the way. While we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the restaurant is very good but very pricey so be careful. While Michelin star, it was a very limited menu to choose from and again, very costly but I will say the experience eating there was memorable and worth it for us!

"Don’t stay in standard room with 2 separate levels."

6.0

One of the standard rooms is on 2 separate levels. The total space is about 25 sq meters which is what the other standard room has. Unfortunately, the first room on two separate levels is practically unusable. Each one of the spaces is so small, you’re unable to pack your bags and settle in. We stayed three nights and switched from the standard room on two separate levels to a standard room on one level. The second standard room was much better, however, the beds are still not that comfortable. The village itself is very quaint until the crowds show up daily. The garden is the pinnacle of our stay here. If you’re looking to establish a home base for the French Riveria, I wouldn’t recommend Eze Village. It’s a good place to visit for a few hours but arrive early and go the the garden. 8 euros per adult. It’s a must see. I recommend arriving at the garden by 9-10am so it’s less crowded.

"Beautiful stay in the low season"

10.0

Visited in April, the location of the Chateau is perfect for a quaint escape in a medieval town. The views are stunning, the people are great, and the rooms are even better.
