It needs a little upgrade on some areas.

L'emplacement, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme à moins de 10 mn en voiture du centre d'Aix. Vue magnifique sur la campagne aixoise. L'accueil du personnel. Nous avons même été surclassés à notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais complet.

Le Mas des Ecureuils is charming -- a delightful, unique establishment; not part of a chain. The hotel and grounds are relaxed and inviting; nothing uptight about this place. It has a special feel due to its quiet, secluded location on a hill surrounded by mature trees. The location is convenient for day trips into Aix and elsewhere. Breakfast was very good and included some locally-made products. Dinners prepared by a chef were delicious, too, and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio near the large, pretty pool. The staff was warm and welcoming, especially the manager, who was delightful. I would happily stay there again.

Regional Charm.

I was allocated room no 1, overlooking the parking lot. I had alerted the hotel on late arrival and was advise that there was no staff service after 10pm, so my key was left on the reception door. I had an adventure to look around for my room, in a fairly remote, insufficiently lit property. Found the room, no Wi-FI, no Telephone, with a door that would not lock and a very tiny shower cubicle.

Es gab wenig was mir nicht gefallen hat ! Lage top / Unterkunft sauber und modern / Pool / Aufzug / Hundefreundlich Rundum zufrieden.

Das Hotel neben an hat schlechte dj‘s zwischendurch etwas laut aber dafür kann die Unterkunft ja nichts.

La porta del bagno non si poteva chiudere, essendo un posto molto particolare su una collina e con stanze in diverse casette è difficile prevedere prima difficoltà di mobilità
