The room was cramped and not well maintained. The carpet had a tear in it and the toilet was too small. There was a dead pigeon in the gutter outside our room window.

PTGBBreakfast service was chaotic with only one working coffee machine for about 30 guests and a poor selection of items and no baguettes.
On arrival we were kept waiting for +20 minutes while the receptionist dealt with a phone call, this while other guests were also waiting to check in. My wife was very tired after a long drive so we had not option but to wait, even though we considered cancelling our stay and going elsewhere. This rudeness was capped by the receptionist telling us we had gone to the (now closed) other reception in the hotel annexe next door, where 'there was a sign telling you to check in here'. We looked the next morning and there was no such sign. To blame the customer in these circumstances is rude and unmprofessional.

The garden was really grubby, lots of bird mess on tables. Some staff didn’t seem to bothered. The spa was overrated.
