Chateau d'Esclimont

This was perfect.

It's a frickin' castle! The grounds are breathtaking and the experience--for the price--is incredible! The interior isn't in perfect condition, but you won't mind at all! Only warning--there is some exotic taxidermy, so if you're offended, stay elsewhere.

Gorgeous location and first rate service and friendliness. Superb dining--best meal during our trip, eaten with a full moon lighting the gardens. Perfect!

せっかくの古城ホテルの滞在でしたがバスルームに問題が出て、シャトーではなく外の別館に宿泊となりました。聞いたところ当日本館シャトーはフルで、実際私たち家族だけが移動となり、移動先は最近使われているんだか分からない暗い別館で、埃も見受けられ非常に残念な思いをしました。価格はWEBを通しているので分からないとのことで同額を支払う結果。遠くから来ているので、もう少し考慮してもらいたいものです。

성에서 하룻밤을 보내는 독특한 경험을 할 수 있었습니다. 정원과 호수의 상태가 아주 좋지는 않았지만 고성의 분위기를 내는데에는 충분한 정도였어요.

This is a beautiful hotel on the outside but inside is pretty shaby. The carpet is dirty the wallpaper is stained and peeling and there are spider webs all over the windows. This hotel is way too over priced for what you get.

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Das Schloss ist wunderschön gelegen. Es ist sehr ruhig, erholsam. Innen ist alles ziemlich alt. Es wird sicher sauber gehalten, aber wenn man modernen Komfort mag, ist es nicht das richtige. Wir haben im Restaurant sehr gut zu Abend gegessen

We stayed at the hotel on our way to Chartres in June of this year. We had a very nice, large room with an attached sitting area for watching tv or reading. We had dinner at the hotel which was quite special. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The grounds are worth spending some time exploring. They are beautifully manicured in a traditional French style. The Chateau has a moat around it which adds to the feeling of being in a different time and place.

The hotel is so isolated enough to hide yourself in the shadow and vast nature There are many leisure activities to do like taking a boat, swimming (only o sunny days) so you may not feel bored at all. But in reality, I just took a boat for 20 min and went to see Cathedral of Notre- Dame. Unlike the beauty of outside, the room was not so good than I expected. Carpets,curtains were dirty and there was a spider web when I opened the window.

Wonderful apart from intrusive drumming!
