Occitania Centre Toulouse Matabiau

The Hotel Phoenicia absolutely met my needs. The road noise was slightly annoying but not a big deal. The in-room wifi worked like a champ and the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed here because we were arriving very late and were using Toulouse as a base for day trips by train. The hotel was good for this purpose.

We had booked into the hotel for an overnight stay having flown into Toulouse in the late evening. The staff were welcoming and helpful; the room though basic was clean and every necessity of modern life - satellite TV, free Wifi etc - was catered for. The bed was comfortable and although the hotel is located just opposite the main train station in the centre of town the room was quiet. Breakfast next morning was included in the very reasonable rate and was more than adequate with cereal and fruit included in addition to a selection of breads, jams and tea or coffee. Again the proprietress was charming and helpful and arranged for our luggage to be stored whilst we spent the morning exploring the city before heading off on the next stage of our journey.

The hotel was very easy to find and accomodated our late arrival at 1am. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast. We were on a cycling holiday and stayed here for our first and last nights. When we came back, Florence was lovely and helpful, recommending places to visit and eat. She recommended a wonderful private art museum (Musee des Augustins), which had the most amazing art collection - a wonderful treat.

Below average hotel. Condition very dissappointing. Not far from station and city centre, but given the type of people hanging around the station and canal, the envirionment felt threatening and unsafe. Certainly would not recommend thjeis hotel.

Nice hotel! Stayed here in transit so chose it for convenient location next to the train station. Otherwise a pretty standard, clean French hotel.

Good clean family run small hotel just across from the train station and airport bus stop. 10-15 minute walk to old town. Air conditioned rooms. Area can be a little intimidating with some homeless and ladies of the night nearby - but safe neighbourhood never the less. Very heplful reception. Rooms at the back are very quiet and face a wall.

We had a great one night stay at this hotel in June. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Toulouse.
