"Okay and far from Paris."

6.0

This hotel runs by Chinese. The room condition can be improved. Can provide better pillows - too small and just one per bed. Breakfast was good and refilled quickly.

"Stop Gap"

This Hotel was ideal for me as I just started a new job in Paris & needed somewhere to live until I found a place of my own. It is ideally situated in Neuilly-Plaisance & handy for most activities in or around Paris

"Average Hotel"

6.0

Rooms are small and not recommended if travelling with infants. Has no kitchenette. Location is good especially if travelling to disneyland as the hotel is situated midway beyween central Paris and Disneyland. Also very close to RER station and restaurants/supermarkets. All in all an average hotel which is fair for the price we paid.

"Rooms not clean."

2.0

Firstly they only had one room respite us booking 3 rooms for 7 people. They found another room and asked if we would mind being on the floor etc for 1 night, we went to the room only find the floor dirty including pubic hairs. They gave us names of nearby hotels but offered not assistance, despite admitting error was theres as we had email confirming 3 rooms from them. We managed to use their free computer to find a hotel through Expedia and left. Again they were very sorry for the error but at 7.30pm with 3 kids 2 grandparents and my wife and I needing a bed for 3 nights apologies didn't cut it. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

"Friendly Staff - not so nice hotel"

6.0

The staffs are really friendly, unfortunately the hotel itself it's not so nice. It is old and not well maintained. The carpet and the bathroom is a little dirty. It's kind of match the rate that we pay. If you are on honeymoon don't stay here. We finally moved to another nearby hotel (Mercure) after 2 days staying, with the rate that is only 40Euro more expensive.

"What more needs to be said!"

8.0

Went to Paris for Christmas, some Disney therapy was in order. Found GIS through their web site - go to it, its one of the most informative hotel sites I have ever seen, it may be a bit lacking in style but it does the job. The Hotel says they are midway between central Paris and EuroDisney. This is correct. Take the RER 15 mins into Nation and change onto the metro there and the whole of Paris is open to you. 20 mins in the other direction and we were at the gates of Disneyland. The RER station is 5 minutes walk from the Hotel, the mega market is good for the odd bottle of Normandy Cider, there are numerous food outlets on the main street including some excellent kebab shops (at 11pm and just above freezing you will need on of these) and the bread shop on the way to the station is to die for (try the pan au chorizo for a quick snack at lunch time - stays warm for a couple of hours in your backpack, a lot better than a Maccie D's). The hotel is in an ethnically diverse area (Chinese, African, Turkish and Portuguese to name a few we talked to) but we did not find this a problem. No intimidation even later in the evening and the shops had everything you could hope for! The hotel itself was friendly, clean and reasonably priced. The rooms were adequate as we just slept there. I would recommend to the management that they find some way to heat the bathrooms, as that was a shock first thing in the morning in bare feet. But after running the shower it was OK for my wife to use (the water was piping hot and heated up the bathroom nicely). The bedroom itself was warm though. Breakfast was standard continental, croissant, jams, baguette, cheese and cold meats. Plenty of coffee on tap but from a machine. OK for the caffeine. We were there over Christmas and the hotel was busy in the evening with private parties so I don’t know what the restaurant was like but it was fun watching the Chinese community having their ballroom dancing lessons and I would recommend Chinese karaoke to anyone. Overall, recommend this for a short stay in Paris. Convenient for everything.

"Reasonable and Sufficient"

6.0

Stayed there with my family for 4 nights. It was just fine for the 5 of us, no complaints about the hotel or surroundings. Breakfast was fine, the kids enjoyed the variety and I enjoyed the "chinese-style" rice porridge. There is a playground just around the corner, not far from the canal, which was good for the infant. There are a couple of late-night grocery stores and fastfood/take-aways on the main street close by. A large supermarket and a adjoining restaurant can be found about 5 mins away. The food here was absolutely okay and not too expensive. The RER station is nearby and it was convenient for Paris and EuroDisney. For those not used to suburbs which are slightly rundown, the first impression may be a bit harrowing. However, it was perfectly safe for us to come back late night every night we stayed there. If you are looking for wonderful surroundings and a posh hotel, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, GIS is a good place to spend the night.
