Hotel Meierhof

Das Frühstück war OK - leider fehlte es an der Auswahl (wohl wegen Zwischensaison). Das Zimmer war geräumig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Parkplatzangebot sehr angenehm.

Die Baustelle nebenan war auch am Samstag in der früh "aktiv" - man hätte uns wohl besser ein Zimmer gegeben, welches nicht direkt an die Baustelle (und deren Lärm) "gebunden" ist. Ein modernes Bad hat aus meiner Sicht eine geräumige Dusche - Badewannen sind passé. Der Teppich im Gang hatte wohl schon bessere Zeiten.

The hotel was empty, we were the only guests that night and they decided to give us a room facing the constuction site below the window. We were woken up 7am by diggers and construction equipment operating right beneath the window. We booked a Superior King room but got a regular room instead. The shower head was broken in the room so you had to hold it with one hand otherwise there was no water coming out. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful - none of the issues were addressed. The wifi did not work which was a MUST HAVE because we did not have Swiss mobile internet. The breakfast buffee had 1 slice of bacon and 1 egg available, no fresh ingredients. Just a few cups of yoghurt and few slices of bread. The hotel manager did not care to even apologize.
