Morosani Schweizerhof

The only reason they got one star was the staff service. They were excellent. However for the cost, this hotel had very poor comforts. Bed was poor, carpeted room was old and grimy. Breakfast was just ok. Pastries were stale. I wouldn't stay here again. I hear restaurant was excellent though. Didn't try it.

We enjoyed our stay in the heart of downtown Davos this summer at the Morosani. We were able to walk or bus easily to just about anything we wanted to see or do which was wonderful. Our room was a two room corner suite with a huge wrap around patio. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were superb as was the daily breakfast in their beautiful dining room. We hope to stay at this property again in the near future. The only practices that I wish they would reconsider, as they are unusual to just about every hotel I have ever stayed at, is removing the surcharge on credit card payments and charging a fairly hefty fee if you fail to return your plastic room key at the end of your stay. That last one left us scratching our heads.

The location is good near Davos Platz and viewing the very beautiful mountains. Staff is very helpful with nice service. Rooms are bit small and the decoration is a bit old. Food is average. Price is acceptable.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich im Morosani empfangen. Unser Zimmer war im 4.Stock mit Terasse und super Aussicht. Die Sauna war sauber und man bekommt frische Handtücher. Auch das Personal im Restaurant ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder ein Wochenende im Morosani buchen.

Wie haben nur eine Übernachtung im Hotel Morosani verbracht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis isch sehr gut. Es ist gut gelegen (wir haben das Art in Ice gesehen) und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war gross genug und auch sehr sauber.

Das Hotel inkl. Wellness-Bereich war sehr schön. Das Frühstück war super!

Very central location. Nice renovated rooms. Very clean. The "sport rooms" are small, but functional. The bathroom indeed extremely small. The spa was ok, but given the size of the hotel not great. The gym, somewhat disappointing. No reclining bike. Although they would have the space. Breakfast except for the eggs, outstanding. A lot of choices, from fruit, to vegetables, to cheeses, cold cuts in good quality and a very beautiful setting in Da Moro restaurant.

Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war top eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet schmeckte uns köstlich. Wir werden bestimmt wieder einmal kommen.

Fabulous skiing in Davos, good location especially to Jakobshorn system. Need for a short bus-ride to Parsenn lift system which is the biggest with wide and great slopes. Considering the high price paid for the hotel >500CHF per night, we expect more from the hotel and the rooms. We booked a junior suite but got more of a standard double room and significantly inferior than our friends that had the same category. However, this is acceptable but just a few annoying examples - being charge for Internet in 2019 of 5 CHF is ridiculous (I'm happy to give them the 5 CHF but adding this small amount is just annoying). - The room lacks iron/iron board and the only way to get your shirt ironed is to pay for it! In every other hotel in the world there is always an iron to borrow. - They charged 3% on top for paying with credit card. - They are not willing to put up guest for waiting list for garage space (why would we have to ask every day for space?) All this makes the feeling for a "cheap" hotel that has more to learn how to treat customers that they want to come back. All in all, an average hotel that could do better. On the positive side very friendly staff, great food and many options.
