Grand Resort Bad Ragaz

Highly recommended!

From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left (sadly) the whole experience was on a totally different level. We went as a big birthday trip for myself and my son, there was 8 of us altogether. All of our rooms were absolutely beautiful my son had a family room for himself his wife and their 3 children, and we had 2 deluxe rooms for the remaining 3 of us. There was fresh fruit and soft drinks, immaculate every where and beautifully appointed but best of all views like we were in a movie. Breakfast was fabulous every morning the staff were so good with the children as well which was nice to see. We ate at Olives and Verve while we were there and all of our food was delicious my son and his wife had a meal at Sven which they said was unbelievable a nice treat. All of the pools are beautiful my personal favourite was the adults only pool and the relaxation room beautiful place to chill. You feel your blood pressure lower and your whole mood lighten the whole time you are there, it was planned to be a one off for all of us my son and family have been 5 times before but I honestly feel I have to return and I can’t wait.

Breakfast and staff are fine. SPA is very average. Hotel and all services are overpriced. Restaurants and bars are extremely overpriced. Rooms are very clean and fine. Swimming pools outside were closed.

Chambre dans la partie hof soit à côté de la partie principale, chambre ok quoique pas mon style, douche à pression très faible et isolation phonique de faible qualité, heureusement peu de monde à mon passage mais on peut suivre les conversations dans le corridor comme si la porte était ouverte, l’ascenseur de côté bien audible ou aussi entendre les gens tousser dans une chambre voisine… tout ça à 640.-/ la nuit mais il y a aussi un accès à la partie thermale incluse et à celle de la clinique à côté

I am a frequent traveler and love 5 star experiences. My first stay at Grand Hotel Bad Ragaz was beyond amazing. Let's start with the free pick up from the train station and the warm welcome by Luis at the reception. I had a little tour of the hotel which is huge and so opulent and I had a princess feel. The club sandwich in the lobby bar was just delicious and the service was very good . I also had dinner at the Italian restaurant and even though I was in Switzerland I had one of the best pizzas ever and the service was top notch. My highlight is the spa... just WOW 🤩 the words are not enough to describe it, you should see this! I look forward to coming back soon and thank you so much for making people happy and making them feel special 🫶

Just a wonderful all round experience - excellent range of dining options, superb accommodation, a wide range of spa facilities and faultless service. Everything was a combination of professional efficiency with the personal touch set in delightful surroundings both inside and outside.

After few years I returned to Grand Hotel, it had been always my escape to paradise and I enjoyed it immensely. This time I was surprised by not finding the reception where it used to be, the entry to Grand Hotel was instead filled with shops and boutiques. Do you really find it necessary and profitable? I have never seen any customers in these fancy boutiques, I hated them, the hotel changed into a market, kind of upper class market with cashmere clothes and glitter junk. Not so many oligarchs any more, so what is it good for? The new design of the rooms is rather disappointing, I prefered the old, cosy beige, golden style. Anyway, Helena Bad is still the same and the staff is gentle, kind and professional. Please, get rid of these ridiculous shops and reinstall the old reception desk.
