Parkhotel Sonnenhof

The staff were exceptional very approachable, friendly and extremely helpful. All spoke english which was very helpful. The cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel was excellent. The hotel had a very nice atmosphere, pleasant aroma, accessibility to all areas of the hotel and grounds was very good. The spring water pool, infrared and sauna facilities were very tranquil and relaxing. Refreshments were available and the staff were continually checking the facility for clean towels etc. Our suite was brilliant. We had a large balcony with comfortable seating, a powered retractable awning and full power operated shutters. There was an espresso coffee machine, full sitting area with large couch, armchair and coffee table. There were light screens that you could manually open and close to seperate the living room area and the bedroom. The bed was luxurious, premium quality and extremely comfortable. The laundry service was included and I had my fresh clean clothes returned well before checkout the next morning. We had roomservice for dinner and the food was outstanding as well as the prompt service. There is also a well stocked minibar. The hotel grounds are very well maintained. There are several outdoor seating areas around the grounds where you can enjoy the views of the mountains, castle and Vaduz. The only negative is that we were only there for one night, but it honestly felt longer! Highly recommend and hope to go back again and stay longer !!

We liked the staff, the facilities and comfort, the ability to walk to the castle.

The property is gorgeous. I strongly suggest a room with a view of the mountains. Dinner was exceptional in every way, the owner is gracious and capable and his team will ensure a perfect stay.

The hotel is a symbol of excellence. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this is definitely one of the best.

Beautiful hotel located on hillside. Very quiet with ample parking. Facilities inside could use updating however felt bit like 1970s in some areas especially the bathroom. Big upset factor was there was no air conditioning even though it stated on their booking page. It was a sort of swamp cooler. Recommend not traveling here in summer time unless you’re okay with sweating while you sleep. Great food otherwise. Staff could use some friendly coaching especially for amount of money you spend here.

This was my second stay at the Sonnenhof. If coming to Liechtenstein, do not look elsewhere. This hotel meets if not sets a global standard for excellent facilities, food and service. This will not be my last stay!
