Friendly staff, enjoyed the complimentory afternoon cakes

We found the bed a little uncomfortable and the pillows too soft to support a good night sleep

The hotel was okay but the staff were not polite. The service was not upto mark either whether it be in the restaurant or in-room. The location was superb and the saving grace.

Good but old property.

Location was a bit tucked away from the craziness of the village but still able to walk there and the views were gorgeous . The mattresses were good. The breakfast buffet was great.

Pillows horrible and fridge was not working in one of our rooms. Price of hotel and restaurant very high and staff was just ok. Nothing outstanding. Except for one guy at the front desk who was really helpful but in another context one could think he was just doing his job. Maybe it’s the amount of tourists they constantly have that has a negative effect on them. I would not come back to Grindelwald for that reason .

A quiet place away from the bustling town with fantastic views of the mountains.

It is a bit tiring to walk going back to the property as it is uphill.

The location and free parking were great. It is walkable to both the bus station and the central area of Grindelwald. The unit we were in was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing was the staff. Everyone’s attitude was not friendly or welcoming. Everything else including the breakfast was good.

The personal touch and friendlyness of the staff was excellent!
