The view from the balcony was amazing. Also the train station was not even a minute walk which was really nice cause we did not have to rush to take the train into Zermatt everyday. Also the staff was super kind and really helpful

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location within steps to the train station that takes you to Zermatt 12 mun ride..($ 16 CHF) roundtrip. Train station has a small market and ski rental souvenier shop ($ 47 CHF boots and ski rental cost conoared to ( $70+) in Zermart. Breakfast and a ice restaurant in property. It has a Jacuzzi tub, fitness center and ski locker room. Would recommend and stay again.

Great location for traveling as it is right by the train station Lovely room very clean and updated My only disappointment as I made the reservation 2 months prior to travel, was being placed in a room directly over the entrance to the hotel.

The hotel was the first off from the train station which is so convenient with bags & after a long day in Zermatt which is only a 10 minute train shuttle away. The room and bathroom were very spacious and stylish. It had an extremely comfortable bed and a large balcony w table and chairs. The staff was so amazingly nice & greeted us with a bowl of nuts and chocolate. Also Silvio was so amazing; he checked us in and brought our bags to our room because we had arrived before our room was ready. Very friendly and helpful. Great experience will definitely be back!

The room was beautiful, spacious and had a roomy veranda. The bed was very comfortable and if you were of a mind, you could watch the television from the bed or the separate seating area as it swiveled to accommodate. Breakfast was plentiful with a seperate gluten free table, offering choice for those requiring it...and I did. This modern and new annex , reached by a connecting tunnel from the original hotel, was very smart and modern. A couple of small snagging issues, like the door surround being loose and the soap dispenser on the sink not working were a shame but no inconvenience to our enjoyment of the room. Close proximity to the train shuttle to car free Zermatt made it a great spot and surprisingly quiet. Parking under the hotel was probably a little cheaper than Parking in Edinburgh for the day, so no complaints there. We loved our overnight stay to this beautiful area and are happy to recommend this hotel. We were also delighted to be given a free upgrade on arrival!

First off, for the American guest, you have to understand this is a European hotel. The beds are slightly smaller, the showers aren’t huge. BUT, with that understanding, this is a VERY comfortable and roomy hotel. The beds are nice, and I found the amount of covering to be perfect. The doors and windows can open to allow some cooler air at night, which was great. The rest of the hotel is great. There is a nice fitness area, also housing a sauna and hot tub. The tub isn’t huge, really 4-5 people fills it up. However, the environment is nice, and allows to be truly relaxing. Breakfast was just alright. NONE of our party could eat the scrambled eggs, if that’s what you can call them. Otherwise, there were some fruit options, meat and cheese, and plenty of bread and spreads. NOTE to buyer... they never checked a room number, name or such. When checking into the hotel, they never gave us breakfast vouchers, and instead just let us know where the breakfast area was located. I say that to let you know,,, I don’t believe they “sell” their breakfast, (its included) and therefor you don’t need to purchase the breakfast option online - additional cost that was already included. LOCATION LOCATION - this hotel is just north of Zermatt, the launching point for most activities in the area. It is RIGHT on the train station stop.... the train runs into Zermatt every 20 minutes, so its very convenient. You do pay for a train ticket, so consider that in your overall cost.

Hotel is good for overnight stay. Conveniently located next to train station to Zermatt Not sure why they have a semitransparent glass door for the bathroom.
