The location and water views were amazing. The room was nice had ac for summer time was amazing.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and helpful. Wish I had done more research before arriving by train. Best way to get from the train station to the hotel is Funicular then walk, it’s all downhill. We took a cab and it cost over 40chs. Going back to the train station take the #4 bus right out front on your Ticino pass for free and it’s a 10 minute ride. Easy peasy.

TV was small, but had many stations including BBC which carried the first World Cup game in English each day. The nespresso machine in the room both days had problems. We told them about it the first day and they said they would have it fixed immediately. The second day we had the same problem. It didn’t matter which button you pushed it emptied half the water container at a time. Way too much for even the two “big” cups to contain. Small problem, just had to clean it up. Those of us who are a bit older and less agile need to watch out for the high tub and rounded bottom of the tub. Footing is a bit treturous when taking a shower. No hand holds.
