epOche Hotel Zanella 1889

Super schönes Hotel! Die Terrasse im 4. Stock biete eine super Aussicht auf Malcesine und den Gardasee.

Ci siamo sentite accolte e ascoltate. Tutto lo staff è gentile e disponibile oltre che simpatico! È un posto che consiglio! Fuori dal caos ma vicino a tutte le belle esperienze che si possono fare in zona!

Sehr, sehr freundlicher Empfang (italienisch, deutsch und englisch), entspannte Atmosphäre, liebevolle Einrichtung in einem schönen Mix aus Erhalt von traditionellem 50er Charme und modernem Komfort (wir waren in einer riesigen neu renovierten, wunderschönen Suite), auch mit unserer Hündin!!!! Apero im Atrium!!!

Das Abendessen (3-gängig) war okay, ging über Kantinen-Niveau aber leider nicht hinaus (bis auf den Wein, der war sehr gut), was aber bei dem Preis von 22€ pro Person wiederum auch passend war…also irgendwie okay.

Room was clean, bed and sofa bed comfy. Staff was friendly.

We booked with half board which was a catastrophy regarding the dinner. My kids didn’t eat, and we not really either since the main courses were terrible (a tuna steak that looked and tasted awful and a non crispy schnitzel with cold and hard fries and overcooked veggies). We were not expecting fine dinning but a decent pasta would have been lovely in a country where there is everywhere good pasta for little money. Really disappointing. Breakfast was ok but nothing really special. If I would have known, we would just have booked the room without food. The room was fine!
