Podere Sant'Elena

Frühstück war sehr umfangreich; wir hatten eine riesige Auswahl an lokalen und frisch zubereiteten Delikatessen. Pool sehr groß, mit gutem Ausblick, sauber, großzügige Liegewiese. Super Ausblick auf die Türme von San Gimignano. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto oder 30 Minuten zu Fuß nach San Gimignano. Sehr freundliches und herzliches Personal, an allen Stellen. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause.

Wenn uns irgendetwas einfallen muss, dann hätte das Zimmer eventuell etwas größer sein können. Wussten wir aber im Vorhinein und war somit für uns auch gut passend.

- Sehr schönes Gelände. - Sehr gute Parkplätze. - Sehr schöner Pool mit Blick auf San Gimignano. - Sehr sauber. - Mitarbeitende sehr freundlich.

- Das Frühstück ist angerichtet als Buffet, es wird jedoch ausgegeben. Die Qualität ist lediglich durchschnittlich. Der Kaffee entsprach nicht den Erwartungen (sehr wässrig). - Die Klimaanlage war auch in ausgeschaltetem Zustand laut. Auf Nachfrage wurde diese war angeschaut, das Problem konnte aber nicht gelöst werden und wurde auch nicht nochmal thematisiert von Seiten der Unterkunft. - Schon am vorletzten Tag bekam ich eine E-Mail mit Aufforderung zur Bewertung. Hier wurde aufgefordert, besser als die durchschnittliche Bewertung zu bewerten. Auf eine Beschwerde meinerseits bezüglich der frühen Aufforderung wurde gesagt, dass Booking die Mail selbstständig und unabhängig von der Unterkunft verschickt habe.

Breakfast

Location is perfect, no mass turism, beautifull view from the breakfast terasse! Atmosphare of the room was very nice!Cleaness is excellent. Staff is very kind and helping in all issues. Breakfast is excellent. Pool is very clean and the garden is very comfortable. The bed was very comfortbale. For us was very comfortable, that we could visited nice and/or historical places with short drivings and aftern return we could relax at the pool. The quiet nigths, the good air, to be near to the nature ( olives and grape plants) was absolutly great. Towel for pool is also very good service. Good restaurant nearby, onyl 3 minutes to walk. Podere Sant' Elena is a place, I plan to return many times. I can recommend this place for everybody with high quality expectations.

Podere Sant’Elena is a little gem just outside San Gimignano. So cozy, comfortable and clean rooms, calm surroundings, really good breakfast, nice pool area. It also has a great view, looking over the fields and towards the city. It is run by the nicest and kindest people you can find. Me and a friend of mine stayed there for four days in October, and we would have loved to stay there longer. Perfect for adults looking for a calm break from everyday life. Will definitely recommend friends and family to stay here, and would really want to come back here myself some day in the future. It is about a 30 minute walk to the city center of San Gimignano, where you can find a lot of good restaurants and cozy shops, so perfect for a little walk before and after dinner for people who’s in normal shape since the landscape goes a bit down and up on the way there and back. Would absolutely recommend having a rental car or booking a driver before coming here though, since it’s a small community with not a lot of taxi drivers or buses around.

Bel emplacement, au calme, une vue superbe sur San Gimignano, depuis notre chambre au premier étage. Chambre bien équipée et joliment décorée Chouette terrasse avec salons de jardin et balancelle, belle piscine, sans parler de l'accueil humain et de qualité. Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, c'était parfait
